In 2003 Gita completed a BMus Honours degree studying the violin at The Royal Academy of Music in London.

She recorded violin on 'Dry Your Eyes' The Streets achieving No. 1 and also recorded violin on the track 'Real Girl' by Mutya, again, reaching the No.1 spot.

Gita went on to record violin on tracks on the follow up Streets album 'Everything is Borrowed' also recording violin for Placebo, Jodie Marie, Ed Harcourt, Taio Cruz, Perry, The Feeling and Sophie Ellis Bextor amongst others.

Gita has toured and performed with: Alison Moyet, Ed Harcourt, Katie Tunstall, Take That, Ozzy Osbourne, Band of Horses, Kasabian, Serj Tankian, Kanye West, Beyonce and Jay Z.

Gita formed The Langley Sisters in 2009, writing material for their first release on 'Velvet Blue Records' which gained fantastic press and radio play - KCRW named one of their tracks 'Today's Top Tune' and following that with an EP 'Sirens and an album titled 'Sing For My Supper'. The Sisters supported Paloma Faith and Jools Holland on tour.

Last year saw Carl Barat cover Gita's 'Sing For My Supper' for his EP 'Death Fires'.

Most recently Gita has been writing with Rae and Christian, Bo Bruce, Norma Jean Martine, Ed Harcourt and Dimitri Tikovoi and has also co/written the opening credit music for the new HBO drama 'Breaking Pointe'.
